University of Minnesota Head Football Coach Tim Brewster brought his enthusiasm and energy to Joseph’s on Tuesday morning.

Coach Brewster's presence attracted a full house of over 70 club members and guests, most wearing their maroon and gold.  As expected, the coach expressed his excitement for his job and the opportunity as the U of M’s football coach.  He made no apologies for his positive attitude and rhetoric, “I wake up in the morning with my glass half full.”

The Coach also talked about the anticipation and emotion that will surround opening day of the new on-campus TCF Bank Stadium.  On September 12, 2009 every living former Gopher football player will be invited to lead the team onto the field.

Coach Brewster wants every young boy in Minnesota to dream of one day representing the state and the U of M in a Gopher football uniform and playing for a Big Ten and National Championship.  But championships will not be the only measure of his success.  He expects the best from his players on and off the field and to be young men that we are proud of.

We wish the Coach the best and Go Gophers!
