On the evening of Saturday, September 12th, our club hosted another Mary Jo Weingarten "What's Best For Kids" Memorial Golf Event.  With the help of sponsorships, silient auction items and golfers, we raise several thousand dollars for local youth projects including YADP, STRIVE mentorships and scholarships and youth exchange.

We had another beautiful evening under the stars as over 40 golfers chased glowing golf balls down the fairway of the Stillwater Country Club.  Prior to teeing off, participants enjoyed a delicious dinner and and entertaining program that included comments from Club President Mike Holsten regarding our club's 25th anniversary and from Past -President Lynda Halbert with memories of Mary Jo Weingarten.  The program also included an inspiring speech by club member Don Schuld - click here to read a copy of that eloquent speech.  Don spoke of the importance of supporting youth program and how Mary Jo would be proud of what our club has accomplished.
