From Thanksgiving to the New Year, the holiday season can be a time of joy, gatherings, and giving. It can also be a time when hard-working families, our elders, and our neighbors do not have the resources they need just to meet their basic needs, yet alone to make their holidays special. You can help change the life of a neighbor:

Holiday Food Package Sponsorship

• For only $25 sponsor a Holiday Food Package to be distributed* during the holiday season to a neighbor in need. Each food basket includes all the  fixings for holiday meals including: 1 Frozen Turkey (November) or Ham (December), 1 package Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, 1 other meat item, 2 packages of Frozen Vegetables, 1 loaf of Bread, and 1 Frozen Fruit Pie.  These Holiday Food Packages are made available through our partner, Fare for All and distributed in our communities by local agencies and volunteers. 

Building Better Lives Bear Sponsorship

• Sponsor a Building Better Lives Bear for a local child who needs one for just a $10 donation. Each cuddly bear will find a new home in the arms of a local child* this holiday season.

* Food packages and bears will be distributed through United Way partner agencies including Community Thread and Valley Outreach to those that need them most. Food packages are also available for purchase by the public at any Fare for All food distribution location. Visit www.fareforall.org for a list of available locations.
