Starting Tuesday, September 15, 2015 we will be meeting at the Lowell Inn Banquet Center

Dear Fellow Rotarians:
For twenty years, the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club (“Club”) meeting has been held at Joseph’s Family Restaurant in Stillwater, Minnesota. During this time, the Club has expanded significantly while staying true to the tenet of “Service Above Self” and doing what’s best for all concerned. We have laughed, cried and quietly built a multitude of community partnerships with local and global reach within Joseph’s four walls. Joe himself has been a true partner in the relationship and has extended us hospitality at all times. A few years ago, Joe took his commitment to the Club one step further and officially joined our Club.

As you know, Joseph’s has undergone a significant modernization of the dining spaces; including the Club’s meeting area. The meeting space has been converted to a great location for socializing and dining. However, the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club Board has reviewed the member feedback and has determined it would be in the best interest of our growing Club to seek a venue designed for a traditional meeting format.

We have engaged the Lowell Inn Banquet Center to host our regular Club meetings beginning with September 15, 2015. Our first honored guest will be Marlene Gargulak, the District Governor for 5960. We are expecting a great crowd for our first meeting in the new site which can hold up to 220.

We believe that Joseph’s will have an even stronger, regular breakfast crowd as a result of the changes in the restaurant’s aesthetics. We will continue to include Joe and Joseph’s in our Club events and are excited to be able to utilize his new “full bar” for future Club functions, as appropriate of course. Please join me in thanking Joe and his ever-able staff for twenty years of personalized and enduring service to the Club.

Kind Regards,
Shari Clifford
Stillwater Sunrise Rotary President 2015‐2016
