The Rotary Clubs of Stillwater, Stillwater Sunrise, and Lake Elmo and The Rotary Foundation joined forces to provide grant funds to purchase some much needed emergency equipment for one ambulance.

The grant will allow the Lakeview EMS, a hospital-based ambulance service, to bring the emergency equipment up to industry standards for critical care service. The $8,495 in grant funds will purchase one Sigma Spectrum infusion pump and one PneuPac paraPAC transport ventilator. The purchase of the equipment will allow an EMS truck to have the equipment onboard and able to respond to a critical care request quickly instead of going back to the hospital to pick up the needed equipment. Lakeview EMS service covers over 225 square miles in Washington county MN and parts of Western WI and provides service to 77,000 residents.
