Craig Leiser traveled to Costa Rica last week to follow up on a recent District grant project and to deliver custom backpacks to children of a one-room school house.
- San Juan Alto School, Osa Municipality, Costa Rica

- 1 in 4th grade, 2 in 2nd grade and 2 in 1st grade
- Terri Peterson, ex-pat from Roseburg serving as translator as the students try out their new, personalized backpacks.
- Students opening their backpacks to sort the school materials and look at their new 15 book library.
- The school menu for the week we visited and presented the supplies. Besides the back packs and supplies, we also presented the school with a “Whiteboard” to assist the teacher in class programs and teaching.
